Yarn of the Month: Novita Nalle
We're kicking off Socktober with our allround classic yarn, Novita Nalle. This Sport-weight sock yarn is loved by generations of knitters.
A true classic
Did you know that Nalle is Novita's oldest yarn still in production? So it's even older than the ever-classic Novita 7 brothers!
So Novita Nalle is a true yarn classic and all-rounder, suitable for knitwear, accessories and, of course, socks. One 100 gram ball contains around 260 metres of yarn. The needle gauge is 3.5 mm, for socks 3 mm.
In line with Novita's sustainability vision, the composition of the Nalle has also been changed this year to contain less artificial fibres. The new, woolier composition makes the yarn feel fluffier and softer to knit.
The colour range has also changed dramatically, with up to nine new colours out of a total of 20 available!
Novita Nalle is made of 80% wool and 20% polyamide. Products knitted from yarn can be machine washed at 40 degrees. Novita Nalle is a Key Flag product
