General Terms & Conditions

GENERAL TERMS OF ORDER AND DELIVERY REGARDING ONLINE SALES

Novitaknits.com is an online service and shop managed and supplied by Novita Oy (Business ID 0112428-3). The following terms of order and delivery apply to business transactions between Novita Oy and its consumer customers within the EU, excluding Finland and Sweden.

Consumer customers should familiarize themselves with these terms prior to placing an order. Novita Oy reserves the right to amend these terms of order and delivery terms unilaterally and without notice. Orders are subject to the terms of order and delivery terms currently displayed on the novitaknits.com website at the time of placing the order. Legal amendments take effect immediately as prescribed unless otherwise stipulated.

Novita Oy sells products through its online shop to adult individuals (consumer customers). In consumer transactions, products are ordered using the shopping basket. You can always check the content of your shopping basket by clicking the Shopping Basket button in the upper right corner of the website. All prices displayed on the website are inclusive of VAT.

We strive to keep the information in the online shop up to date, but errors regarding for example prices, features or amounts of products are possible. Novita Oy reserves the right to cancel all or part of a delivery due to an error in the online shop. We will inform the customer about errors in orders, and we will compensate undelivered products.

You can shop either as our guest or by signing up as a Novita Oy customer. By signing up you can view previous orders stored under your account. The user credentials for the online shop are personal and should not be handed over to any third party.

All orders are confirmed by an email message indicating the ordered products, their prices and shipping costs. When placing an order, you must always give your current email address. By using our online shop, you agree to us processing your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy.

We deliver ordered products by Finnish Post to a pick-up location chosen by the customer in the EU.

PAYMENT METHODS

Payments are processed by Shopify Payments. Payment methods include card, Google Pay, Apple Pay and PayPal.

DELIVERY AND SHIPPING

As a rule, the delivery time of an order is 4-5 business days. NB! During peak times, the processing and shipment times of orders may be longer. We send all products ordered by you at the same time unless otherwise agreed. We deliver orders via the Finnish Post and GLS. The shipping costs include postage and packaging.

We ship our products from Finland to the following countries:

EXCHANGE AND RETURN OF PRODUCTS

Our consumer customers are entitled to exchange and return products in accordance with Finland’s Consumer Protection Act. In case of returns, please contact Novita Oy in advance by email using the address support(@)novita.fi. If you wish to send email, please enter your order number in the Subject field together with the word RETURN.

Enclose the following details with the return shipment: order number, orderer's name, shipping address and a telephone number where you can be reached between 7 a.m. and 15 p.m. on workdays.

We do not accept return notificationss that arrive more than 14 days from the delivery. Products that were free of defects at the time of delivery must be unused and merchantable upon return. Novita Oy is not responsible for any defects to products due to careless packaging.

When your return has been accepted, Novita Oy will refund you in full.Any shipment which has not been claimed and which is returned to Novita, and which has not been notified to Novita, will be subject to a return fee of 5,90 €. The amount of the return fee is subtracted from the refunded amount.

PROBLEMS IN THE DELIVERY

If a shipment is lost or damaged during delivery or if an incorrect product has been delivered, you should report the issue immediately to Novita Oy, primarily by e-mail to the address support (@) novita.fi. An incorrect or faulty product must be reported within 14 days of receiving the product or at the latest within 14 days from the time the fault should have been noticed. If a parcel has been damaged during shipping, you should immediately notify the pick-up location of the fact. You should also contact Novita Oy so that we can agree on the delivery of a replacement product. We aim to settle all claims quickly by e-mail. Finnish law and consumer protection legislation is applied to any disputes.
