The Kaamos KAL cable knit sweater designed by Piia Maria Pekkanen is a 35-day challenge. By following the carefully planned schedule, you are sure to succeed! If you don't have enough time to knit a whole sweater, you can make the project easier by knitting a vest instead.
You can start the challenge with a warm-up
First, we will learn about the structure and knitting of the cable pattern used in the sweater instructions. Once you are familiar with the Kaamos cable pattern, knitting the sweater will be easier right from the start. During the initial training, you will complete a beautiful and warm headband.

Novita Hygge Chunky is a squashy and airy single ply yarn made with 100% wool.
It’s perfect for creating a range of soft and gorgeous knits and accessories, including sumptuously squishy cable and colorwork projects and crochet. Quick and easy to work with, it's also the ideal choice for beginners. Hygge Chunky is suitable for all knitting patterns that call for chunky yarn. A 100 g skein has 140 metre of yarn, and the recommended needle size is 5–6 mm (8–10 US). The gauge for this yarn is 16 stitches and 20 rows over 10x10 cm (4x4 in). Hugely versatile, Novita Hygge Chunky can also be used for felting.
