Using the smaller needles, cast on 90(98)106(114)126(138) sts and begin the ribbing on the WS with p2. Work for 5 cm.
Switch to the larger needles and work stockinette st. On the first row, evenly increase 0(0)2(2)2(0) sts = 90(98)108(116)128(138) sts.
When the piece measures 14(15)15(16)16(17) cm, decrease 1 st at both ends. Repeat the decreases after 15 cm = 86(94)104(112)124(134) sts.
When the piece measures approx. 36(37)38(39)41(42) cm, on every other row bind off 1x4(4)5(5)6(6) sts, 0(1)1(1)1(2)x3 sts, 1(1)1(2)3(3)x2 sts and 3(2)3(3)2(2)x1 st at both ends for the armholes = 68(72)78(82)90(94) sts.
When the armhole measures 17(18)19(20)20(21) cm, bind off the middle 28(28)28(30)30(30) sts for the neckline. Work one side of the neckline at a time. On every other row bind off 2x2 sts at the neckline edge.
When the armhole measures 19(20)21(22)22(23) cm, bind off 16(18)21(22)26(28) sts at the shoulder.
Work the other side of the neckline in the same manner.
Front
Work as you did the back piece until the armhole measures 8(9)10(11)11(12) cm. Leave the middle 22(22)22(24)24(24)sts on hold on e.g. a piece of yarn. Work one side of the neckline at a time. On every other row bind off 1x3 sts, 1x2 sts and 2x1 st at the neckline edge.
When the armhole measures 19(20)21(22)22(23) cm, bind off 16(18)21(22)26(28) sts at the shoulder.
Work the other side of the neckline in the same manner.
Sleeves
Using the smaller needles, cast on 46(48)50(50)52(54) sts and work 5 cm of ribbing.
Switch to the larger needles and work stockinette st.
When the piece measures 5(3)7(7)4(3) cm, increase 1 st at both ends. Repeat the increases every 3,5(3,5)3(2,5)2,5(2,5) cm 10(11)12(15)16(17) more times = 68(72)76(82)86(90) sts.
When the piece measures 44(45)46(47)47(48) cm, on every other row bind off at both ends 1x4(4)5(5)6(6) sts, 1x3 sts, 2x2 sts, 11(12)13(15)17(18)x1 st, 1x2 sts and 1x3 sts.
Then bind off the remaining sts.
Knit the other sleeve to match.
Finishing
Pin the pieces to measurements, mist on the wrong side and allow to dry.
Sew the shoulder seams.
Neckline edge: Place the sts you left on hold on the circular needle and pick up and knit additional sts from the neckline edge for 124(124)124(128)128(128) sts in total. Work ribbing in the round for 3 cm. Bind off in pattern.
Following the chart, embroider the 'Born to Knit' text approx. 4 cm from the front neckline using duplicate sts. The midpoint of the piece is marked with an arrow on the chart. Use that to determine the starting point.
Sew the side seams and sleeve seams. Attach the sleeves.
