Using Yarn A and the short 4 mm circular needle, pick up and knit 104(104)108(108)112(112) sts from the wrong side of the chain.Work stockinette st in the round for 2 rounds; on the second round, evenly increase 12(16)16(20)24(32) sts = 116(120)124(128)136(144) sts.
Begin the colourwork pattern on row 1 of the chart, repeating the 4-st pattern 29(30)31(32)34(36) times. Place a marker at the beginning of round. Work rows 2–5 of the chart. On row 6, increase 29(30)31(32)34(36) sts following the chart (1 st at each pattern repeat) = 145(150)155(160)170(180) sts. After 5 cm / 2 in, work to end of round and increase 4 sts: k1, increase 1 (knit the strand of yarn between the sts through the back loop), knit to last st before marker, increase 1, k2, increase 1, knit to last st, increase 1, k1. Finishing
