- Ribbing: *k1, p1*, repeat *-*. On the wrong side rows
Back
Using the smaller needles cast on 89(97)105(109)117(125) sts and begin ribbing on the WS with k1.
Work for 4 cm and finish on a RS row. Switch to the larger needles.
Begin the texture pattern on row 1 of the chart (WS):
Sizes XS, S and M: work section A 6(8)10times [= 12(16)20 sts], section B (= 1 st), section C (= 16 sts + 1 st), section D (= 16 sts + 1 st), section C (= 16 sts + 1 st), section D (= 16 sts + 1 st), section E (= + 1 st) and section F 6(8)10 times [= 12(16)20 sts].
Sizes L, XL and XXL: work section A 3(5)7 times [= 6(10)14 sts], section B (= 1 st), section D (= 16 sts + 1 st), section C (= 16 sts + 1 st), section D (= 16 sts + 1 st), section C (= 16 sts + 1 st) section D (= 16 sts + 1 st), section C (= 16 sts + 1 st), section E (= + 1 st) and section F 3(5)7 times [= 6(10)14 sts].
5(5)5(7)7(7) sts increased, 94(102)110(116)124(132) sts on the needles.
Now keep repeating rows 2-27 of the chart.
When the piece measures 12(13)13(14)14(15) cm, decrease 1 st at both ends: on a RS row work 1 st, skp (= slip 1 knitwise, k1, pass slipped st over), work to last 3 sts, k2tog, work 1 st. Repeat the decreases every 10 cm 4 more times = 84(92)100(106)114(122) sts.
When the piece measures 58(59)60(61)62(63) cm, bind off 1x4(4)4(5)5(5) sts at both ends for the armholes. On every other row decrease 3(3)3(4)4(4)x1st at both ends = 70(78)86(88)96(104)sts.
When the armhole measures 17(18)19(20)21(22) cm, securely bind off the middle 28(28)28(30)30(30) sts for the neckline. Work one shoulder at a time. After 2 rows bind off 1x2 sts at the neckline edge.
When the armhole measures 19(23)27(27)31(35) cm, bind off the 19(23)27(27)31(35) shoulder sts.
Knit the other side in the same manner.
Left front
Using the smaller needles cast on 45(49)53(55)59(63) sts and begin ribbing on the WS with k1.
Work for 4 cm and finish on a RS row. Switch to the larger needles.
Begin the texture pattern on row 1 of the chart (WS):
Sizes XS, S and M: work section B (= 1 st), section C (= 16 sts + 1 st), section D (= 16 sts + 1 st), section E (= + 1 st) and section F 6(8)10 times [= 12(16)20 sts].
Sizes L, XL and XXL: work section B (= 1 st), section C (= 16 sts + 1 st), section D (= 16 sts + 1 st), section C (= 16 sts + 1 st), section E (= + 1 st) and section F 3(5)7 times [= 6(10)14 sts].
3(3)3(4)4(4) sts increased, 48(52)56(59)63(67) sts on the needles.
Now keep repeating rows 2-27 of the chart.
When the piece measures 12(13)13(14)14(15) cm, decrease 1 st at the right end: on a RS row work 1 st, skp, work to end. Repeat the decrease every 10 cm 4 more times = 43(47)51(54)58(62) sts.
Note: When the piece measures 54(55)56(57)58(59) cm, decrease 1 st at the left end (front edge): on a RS row work to last 4 sts, k2tog, p2. Repeat the decreases every 1 cm 14(13)12(13)12(11) more times and then 2(3)4(4)5(6) times every 2 cm.
Note: When the armhole measures 58(59)60(61)62(63) cm, bind off 1x4(4)4(5)5(5) sts at the right end for the armhole. On every other row decrease 3(3)3(4)4(4)x1st at the right end.
When the armhole measures 19(20)21(22)23(24) cm, bind off the 19(23)27(27)31(35) shoulder sts.
Right front
Using the smaller needles cast on 45(49)53(55)59(63) sts and begin ribbing on the WS with k1.

Keep repeating rows 2-27 and at both ends keep working 2 sts in reverse stockinette st.
When the piece measures 12(13)13(14)14(15) cm, decrease 1 st at the left end: on a RS row work to last 3 sts, k2tog, work 1 st. Repeat the decrease every 10 cm 4 more times = 43(47)51(54)58(62) sts.
Note: When the piece measures 54(55)56(57)58(59) cm, decrease 1 st the right end (front edge): on a RS row work 2 sts, skp, work to end. Repeat the decreases every 1 cm 14(13)12(13)12(11) more times and then 2(3)4(4)5(6) times every 2 cm.

When the piece measures 45(46)47(48)48(49) cm, bind off 1x3(3)3(4)4(4) sts at both ends. On every other row decrease 3(3)3(4)4(4)x1st at both ends. Bind off the remaining sts.
Knit the other sleeve in the same manner.
Finishing
Pin to measurements wrong side up, mist and allow to dry.
Sew the shoulder seams. Attach the sleeves following the red markings on the pattern. Sew the side seams and sleeve seams.
Borders: Using 2 circular needles (4½ mm) pick up and knit sts from the RS at the right front edge, neckline and left front edge. Skip every 4th row. Make sure the number of sts is divisible by 2 + 1 st. Begin ribbing on the WS: p2, k1, *p1, k1*, repeat *-*, p2.
