Stitch patterns
Textured pattern: follow the chart and instructions.
Stockinette stitch: knit the right side rows and purl the wrong side rows.
Ribbing: *k1, p1*, repeat *-*. On the wrong side rows
Front
Using the smaller needles, cast on 107(117)127(132)147(162) sts and begin the textured pattern on row 1 of the chart: (WS) work 1 st at the left end of the chart, repeat the 5 st pattern 21(23)25(26)29(32) times, work the 1 st at right. Work rows 2-5 four times in total.
Switch to the larger needles and work stockinette st.
When you have worked stockinette st for 23(24)24(25)26(27) cm, on every other row increase 6(8)8(10)12(12)x5 sts and 14(12)12(10)8(8)x4 sts at both ends = 279(293)303(312)331(346) sts.
When you have worked for 15(15)15,5(16)16,5(17) cm with all sts after the increases, bind off 1x7(9)9(9)9(9) sts at both ends for the shoulders and at the same timebind off the middle 15(15)15(16)17(16) sts for the neckline. Work one side of the neckline at a time. On every other row bind off 0(0)0(2)4(4)x9 sts and 11(11)11(9)7(7)x8 sts at the shoulder andat the same time on every other row bind off 1x3 sts, 3x2 sts and 5x1 st at the neckline edge. Bind off the remaining 23(28)33(35)42(50) shoulder sts.

Using the smaller needles, cast on 107(117)127(132)147(162) sts and begin the textured pattern on row 1 of the chart: (WS) work 1 st at the left end of the chart, repeat the 5 st pattern 21(23)25(26)29(32) times, work the 1 st at right. Work rows 2-5 four times in total.
Switch to the larger needles and work stockinette st.

Left back
Pick up 107(117)127(132)147(162) sts from the wrong side of the right back piece, at the beginning of the stockinette st section. Mirror the right back piece: decrease at the right end, increase at the left end.
Finishing
Pin to measurements wrong side up, mist and allow to dry.
Sew the sleeve and shoulder seams and side seams.
Cuffs: Using the double-pointed needles, pick up 55(55)55(60)60(60) sts from the cuff. Working in the round, begin the textured pattern on the RS on row 1 of the chart. Work the 5 st pattern 11(11)11(12)12(12) times. Work rows 2-5 eight times in total, then bind off. Knit the other cuff in the same manner.
Using the smaller circular needles (2 x 80 cm), pick up and knit sts from the neckline. Pick up approx. 20 sts per 10 cm, tightening the edge slightly as you go. With RS facing, start at the straight section of the back and continue to the front neckline and the other back piece. Work 5 rows in garter st and bind off. Sew the straight edges of the back piece to the side seams.
Tie strings: Using the smaller needles, cast on 12 sts and work ribbing for 40 cm. Bind off in pattern. Knit the other tie string in the same manner.
Attach the strings to the ends of the back pieces, approx. 4 cm from the shoulder seam.
