Ribbing: Row 1: (WS) *p2, k1*, repeat *-* until 2 sts remain, p2. Row 2: (RS) *k2, p1*, repeat *-* until 2 sts remain
Cast on 146 sts and begin ribbing with the WS row. Work ribbing as instructed for 10 cm.
Begin the cable pattern on the RS on row 1 of the chart: work 4 sts in garter st, work section A (= 29 sts), section B (= 6 sts), repeat section C 4 times (= 64 sts), section D (= 10 sts), section E (= 29 sts), work 4 sts in garter st. Keep working 4 sts at both ends in garter st. At sections A and E work rows 2-12 and then keep repeating rows 1-12. At sections B, C and D work rows 2-28 and then keep repeating rows 1-28.
When the piece measures 180 cm, finish on row 27 of the chart and begin ribbing with the WS row. Work ribbing for 10 cm, then bind off in pattern.
