Back section
Working with two strands of yarn held together, cast on 98(104)110(122)128 sts. Start with twisted rib on a RS row according to pattern.
When your work measures 5 cm [2 in] and you have completed a WS row, start the cable pattern as per Row 1 of chart working from right edge to left: k2, work Section A 3(4)5(7)8 times [= 9(12)15(21)24 sts], Section B (= 10 sts + 2 sts), Section C 3 times (= 66 sts + 6 sts), Section D 3(4)5(7)8 times [= 9(12)15(21)24 sts] and k2 on left. You will have increased by 8 sts and now have a total of 106(112)118(130)136 sts on your needles. Work chart rows 2–21 and continue to repeat rows 1–21.
When the work measures 25(26)27(29)30 cm [9¾(10¼)10½(11½)11¾ in], bind off 1x5(6)8(9)11 sts at both ends for the armholes. On every other row, decrease 4(4)5(7)7x1 sts at each end. You now have 88(92)92(98)100 sts.
When the armhole measures 22(23)24(24)25 cm [8¾(9)9½(9½)10 in], on a RS row, securely bind off the middle 44(46)46(48)48 sts for the neckline and work to end of row. Set the sts on the right side aside and work the left side of the neckline first. As you work the shoulder, bind off 4x4(4)4(4)5 sts and 1x4(5)5(7)4 sts on every other row, while working 2x1 decreases on every other row.
Repeat on the other side.
Left front section
Working with two strands of yarn held together, cast on 53(56)59(65)68 sts. Start with twisted rib on a RS row according to pattern.
When your work measures 5 approx. cm [2 in] and you have completed a WS row, start the cable pattern as per Row 1 of chart working from right edge to left: k2, work Section A 3(4)5(7)8 times [= 9(12)15(21)24 sts], Section B (= 10 sts + 2 sts), Section C 3 times (= 22 sts + 2 sts), work 10 sts in twisted rib.
