Finished measurements 40 cm x 60 cm
Stitch patterns:
- Stockinette stitch:
Right side rows: knit all sts.
- Wrong side rows:
purl all stitches.
- Colourwork pattern:
work in stockinette st following the chart.
Gauge:
15 sts and 18 rows in stockinette st or the colourwork pattern = 10 cm
Using the off-white yarn, cast on 90 sts. Purl the wrong side row and then continue working in stockinette st.
When you have worked 3 rows, begin the colourwork pattern from row 4 of chart and work the 90 st pattern. Work rows 4-73 and bind off.
Using the off-white yarn, cast on 90 sts for the second piece. Work 73 rows in stockinette st. Bind off.
Finishing
Lay the pieces to measurements wrong side up, mist with a spray bottle and allow to dry.
Sew the seams on the long sides and one of the short sides. Put the pillow in the case and sew the last seam.
