- Work double crochet (dc) following the instructions.
Gauge:
15 dc = 10 cm / 4 in
Twist the off-white yarn once around your finger and crochet into the loop:
Round 1: 5 dc. Continue working in the spiral, moving straight to the next round. Place a marker at the beginning of round.
Round 2: Work 2 dc into each st on the previous round = 10 dc.
Round 3: *1 dc, 2 dc into the next st*, repeat *-* 4 more times = 15 dc.
Round 4: *2 dc, 2 dc into the next st*, repeat *-* 4 more times = 20 dc.
Round 5: *1 dc, 3 trebles (tr) into the next st*, repeat *-* 3 more times, 12 dc = 28 sts.
Round 6: *1 dc, 3 tr*, repeat *-* 3 more times, 12 dc = 28 sts.
Round 7: *1 dc, crochet 3 sts together*, repeat *-* 3 more times, 12 dc = 20 sts.
