Aino scarf Novita Hygge Wool
Big is beautiful. Although Aino is one huge scarf, nearly 2,5 meters, it's also a perfect beginner project, just to get to those knits and purls working. Four different stitch patterns alternate throughout the scarf from Novita Hygge Wool.

Stitch patterns
- Ribbing: Row 1: *k1, p1*, repeat *-* until 1 st remains, k1. Row 2: *p1, k1*, repeat *-* until 1 st remains, p1.
- Garter stitch: knit all rows. Stockinette stitch: knit the right side rows and purl the wrong side rows.
- Double seed stitch:
Row 1: *p1, k1*, repeat *-* until 1 st remains, p1.
Row 2: *k1, p1*, repeat *-* until 1 st remains, k1.
Row 3: *k1, p1*, repeat *-* until 1 st remains, k1.
Row 4: *p1, k1*, repeat *-* until 1 st remains
Cast on 33 sts. Work 1 st in garter st, work ribbing until 1 st remains, work 1 st in garter st. Work until the ribbing measures 5 cm.
Section 1
Work the edge sts in garter st throughout. Work the other sts in double seed st. Repeat rows 1-4 two times (= 8 rows in total).
Section 2
Note: Work the edge sts in garter st throughout.
*Work 3 rows in stockinette st, then knit the WS row.* Repeat *-* 3 more times. Work 2 more rows in stockinette st (= 18 rows in total).
Alternate sections 1 and 2 until the scarf measures approx. 233 cm. Finish with section 1. Work section 2 once more, then work ribbing for 5 cm. Bind off loosely.
Finishing
Lightly steam the scarf.
