Cast off 32 sts in the middle of back for neck and work to end. Leave right side sts on a holder. Work each side of neck separately. Work 1cm. Cast off rem 15[17:19:20:23:26] sts. Rejoin yarn to sts on holder and patt to end. Complete to match first side, reversing shapings.

Left Front

Using jeans yarn cast on 48[52:56:60:65:70] sts.

Inc to egde sts (=rib sts) 1 st by working 1 white st using jeans yarn alternately every 4 and 2 rows 12 times. The number of sts is the same. AT THE SAME TIME make armhole shaping at right end as for back.

AT THE SAME TIME when you have 17 sts in edge sts, inc 1 st to each K2 stripes = 5 sts increased. Con new rib over these sts: *K3,P1, rep from * to end. Work until you have 26sts in edge sts, inc 1 st to each K3 stripes = 6 sts increased. Con new rib over these sts: *K4,P1, rep from * to end. Work until armhole meas about 18[19:20:21:21:22] cm. Cast off 15[17:19:20:23:26] sts for shoulder and leave 35 sts on a holder. Sleeves

Using jeans yarn cast on 46[48:50:50:52:52] sts. Work in rib 3 cm. Change to white yarn. Cont in stocking st 4 rows. Beg and ending rows as indicated, cont in patt from chart as folls:

Row 1:Sleeve middle stitch is marked in chart with an arrow, count from there your starting st. Cont in patt and work rows 1-12 of total of 6 times and work rows 1-6. Cont in stocking st using white yarn.

Making Up

Flatten the pieces to the desired dimensions on an even surface, wrong side up. Wet with water spray, and allow to dry. Join both shoulder seams.

Hood

Rejoin jeans yarn to 35 sts on a holder, pick up and knit 38 sts evenly from neck edge, rejoin yarn to 35 sts on a holder =108 sts. Work in rib as folls:

WS:P1,K1,P4, * K1, P4, rep from * 19 times, K1, P1.

Work until hood meas 33 cm. Cast off sts in rib. Join crown seams using back stitch or matress stitch if preferred.
Join side seams and sleeve seams using back stitch or matress stitch if preferred. Set in sleeves. Sew on buttons.

Belt

Using jeans yarn cast on 13 sts. Work in rib about 145[145:155:155:165:165] cm. Cast off sts in rib.
