When the piece measures 39(40)40(41)41 cm, decrease 1 st at both ends next to the outermost sts. Repeat the decreases every 10 cm 3 more times = 71(77)83(89)95 sts.
When the piece measures 83(84)85(87)88 cm, bind off 1x3(4)5(5)6 sts, 0(0)0(1)1x3 sts, and 1x2 sts at both ends on every other row for the armholes = 61(65)69(69)73 sts. Leave the sts on hold on e.g. a piece of yarn.
Left front
Using the smaller needles, cast on 43(46)49(52)55 sts and begin the k1, p1 ribbing on the WS with k1. Work 36(39)42(45)48 sts from the right end in ribbing and the 7 sts at the front edge (left end) in moss st.
When the ribbing measures 6 cm, switch to the larger needles. Work 34(37)40(43)46 sts in stockinette st, 2 sts in ribbing (p1, k1), and the 7 sts at the front edge in moss st.
When the piece measures 39(40)40(41)41 cm, decrease 1 st at the right end next to the outermost st. Repeat the decrease every 10 cm 3 more times = 39(42)45(48)51 sts.
When the piece measures 83(84)85(87)88 cm, bind off on every other row 1x3(4)5(5)6 sts, 0(0)0(1)1x3 sts, and 1x2 sts at the right end for the armhole = 34(36)38(38)40 sts.

Place markers for buttons at the front edge. The topmost button will be 4(3)2(2)1 cm from the top edge and the other 5 below it at 9 cm intervals. There will be another 3 buttons on the yoke and neckline edge.
Right front
Work as the mirror image of the left front. Work buttonholes at the spots you marked. Buttonhole: work 4 sts from the front edge, yarn over, knit or purl 2 sts together following the moss st pattern, work to end.
Sleeves
Using the smaller needles, cast on 35(37)37(39)39 sts and work k1, p1 ribbing for 6 cm. Switch to the larger needles and start working stockinette st.
When the piece measures 11(11)12(13)13 cm, increase 1 st at both ends next to the outermost st by knitting the strand of yarn between the sts through the back loop. Repeat the increases every 5(4,5)4(3,5)3 cm 6(7)8(9)11 more times = 49(53)55(59)63 sts.
When the piece measures 46(47)48(48)49 cm, on every other row bind off 1x3(4)4(4)5 sts and 1(1)1(2)2x2 sts at both ends = 39(41)43(43)45 sts. Leave the sts on hold on e.g. a piece of yarn.
Knit the other sleeve to match.
Yoke
Move the pieces onto the larger circular needle: 34(36)38(38)40 right front sts + 39(41)43(43)45 sleeve sts + 61(65)69(69)73 back sts + 39(41)43(43)45 sleeve sts + 34(36)38(38)40 left front sts = 207(219)231(231)243 sts.
At both ends, work 7 sts in moss st and 2 sts in ribbing. Work the other sts in stockinette st and continue for 1(2)2(1)1 cm.
Note: Work the rest of the buttonholes onto the front edge of the right front at approx. 9 cm intervals.
Begin the lace pattern from row 1 of the chart: work 7 sts in moss st, work the 12 st pattern repeat 16(17)18(18)19 times, work 1 st from the left end, and work 7 sts in moss st.
