Cont in patt and repeat rows 1-2. for 5cm. Change to larger needles. Cont in patt and repeat rows 3-12. Work until sleeve meas 10[6:7:6:10] cm. Inc 1 st at each end. Repeat increases in 2[2:2:2:1,5] cm intervals 9(12)12(13)14 times =82[88:92:98:102] sts. Work increased sts in cable patt. Work until sleeve meas 30[31:32:33:33] cm.
Shape top
Cast off 3 sts at beg of next 2[0:0:0:2] rows. Cast off 2 sts at beg of next 6[10:12:12:10] rows. Cast off rem sts.
Making Up
Flatten the pieces to the desired dimensions on an even surface, wrong side up. Wet with water spray, and allow to dry. Join both shoulder seams.
Collar
Using smaller needles rejoin yarn to 8[8:8:9:9] sts on a holder, pick up and knit 98[98:102:100:100] sts evenly from neck edge and work 8[8:8:9:9] sts second holder =114[114:118:118:118] sts.
WS: Work in rib as folls: K2, * P2,K2, rep from * to end. Work until collar meas 3cm. Cast off sts in rib.
Front Edges
Using smaller needles pick up and knit from left front edge (including collar edge) sts as folls: pick up and knit about 20 sts (number has to be divisible by 4) to 10cm.
WS: Work in rib as folls: P3,K2, * P2,K2,rep from * , P3. Work in rib 4cm. Cast of in rib.Mark buttonplacementswith stitchmarkers as folls: top button: 2 cm underneckline, bottom button: 2 cm above hem. The rest of the buttons evenly in between.
Using smaller needles pick up and knit from right front edge (including collar edge) sts as for left front edge. Work 1,5cm.Make buttonholes in intervals as you have marked on the left front:
(RS): K2tog, yrn (to make a buttonhole).
Work until edge meas 4cm. Cast of in rib.
Set in sleeves ( red attaching mark in pattern). Join side seams and sleeve seams using back stitch or matress stitch if preferred. Sew on buttons.
