Novita Venla: Klippan hat
Made from Novita Venla, the Klippan hat is a great project even for beginners! The pattern gives instructions for two different hat lengths.

Stitch patterns Ribbing in the round: *knit 1, purl 1*
Cast on 156 sts and work ribbing in the round starting with k1: *k1, p1*, keep repeating *-*.Work until the hat measures 22(33) cm. On the last round place 6 markers as follows: *work 26 sts, place marker*, repeat *-* 5 more times.Begin decreasing: *knit 1, purl 1, skp (= slip 1 knitwise, knit 1, pass the slipped st over), work ribbing to last 3 sts before next marker, knit 2 sts together, purl 1*, repeat *-* 5 more times. 12 sts decreased, 144 sts on the needles.Repeat the decreases on every 3rd round 9 more times = 36 sts.Work one more decrease round as follows: *knit 1, purl 1, sk2p (= slip 1 knitwise, knit 2 sts together, pass the slipped st over), purl 1*, repeat *-* 5 more times = 24 sts.Break the yarn and pull it through the sts. Pull tightly to close the hole and weave in. FinishingFold the brim twice at 5 cm from the edge. Lightly steam the hat.
