Stitch patterns Twisted ribbing in the round: *k1 through back loop, p1*
Cast on 56(56)60 sts and divide them onto four double-pointed needles, 14(14)15 sts each. The beginning of round is between needles I and IV, at the side of the sock. Work twisted ribbing in the round for 3 cm.Purl 1 round, knit 1 round, purl 1 round.Begin the cable pattern on row 1 of chart I. Work the 28(28)30 st pattern two times. Work rows 2-20 of the chart, then keep repeating rows 1-20.When the leg measures 15(15)17 cm, begin the heel flap: knit the sts on needles I and II onto the same needle = 28(28)30 sts. Leave the other sts on hold. Turn work and begin the reinforced stitch pattern:Row 1: (WS) slip 1 with yarn in back, purl to end. Turn work.
