Start here
Cast on 100 sts, join to work in the round and work 6 rounds in st st. Knit one more round and at the same time decrease 2 sts = 98 sts.
Start ribbing in the round in the following way: work *k2, p1, k2, p2* and repeat *-* 13 more times. Work 6 rounds in rib.
Start following the main stitch pattern shown in the chart and continue working in the round. Start from row 1 and work the 14 st repeat 7 times in total. Repeat rows 1-16 two times and work rows 1-8 once again.
Start decreasing by following the chart row 41: 14 sts will be decreased and there is now 84 sts on the needle. Work rows 42-51 of the chart: 28 sts on the needle. Knit 1 round.
Next alternate decrease round: K1, skp, *k2, skp*, repeat *-* 5 more times, k1 = 21 sts.
Knit 1 round.
Next alternate decrease round: K2tog to end.
Cut yarn, thread through the stitches and pull tight. Weave in the ends.
Finishing
Steam the hat gently.
