- Ribbing in the round:
*k2, p2*, repeat *-*.
Gauge:

Cast on 52 sts and divide them to four needles, 13 sts each. Join for working in the round and begin ribbing. *K2, p2*, repeat *-*.
When the hat measures 33 cm, begin decreasing:
Decrease round 1: *k2tog, p2*, repeat *-* to end of round = 39 sts.
Decrease round 2: *k1, p2tog*, repeat *-* to end of round = 26 sts.
Work 2 rounds of k1 p1 ribbing. On the next round p2tog to end = 13 sts.
Break yarn and pass it through the remaining sts. Securely weave in (note that the brim will be folded).
