A cute pair of ears are the finishing touch on this seed stitch hat. The pattern is suitable for both Novita Nalle yarn and Novita Wool Cotton yarn.

Stitch patterns:
- Seed stitch in the round:
Row 1:
*k1, p1*, repeat *-* to the end of round.
Row 2:
purl the knit sts and knit the purl sts. Keep repeating rows 1-2.
Gauge:
16 sts of seed st
Using 2 strands of yarn cast on 72 sts and distribute the sts onto four needles, 18 sts each. The beginning of the round is between needles I and IV.
Work seed stitch in the round:
Row 1: *k1, p1*, repeat *-* to end of round.
Row 2: purl the knit sts and knit the purl sts.
Keep repeating rows 1-2.
When the hat measures approx. 15 cm, decrease 2 sts at the beginning and end of each needle (=p3tog or k3tog in pattern) = 56 sts. Repeat the decreases every 3rd round 3 more times.
Break the yarn, pass it through the remaining 8 sts and pull tightly. Securely weave in the yarn ends.
Finishing
Steam the hat lightly. Make 2 pompoms (approx. 7 cm in diameter) and attach them to the top.
