Rudolf children’s yoke sweater

What could be lovelier than the whole family wearing matching Christmas sweaters? Matching outfits will add a touch of Christmas magic to your festive photos and the big night itself. The little ones will surely love their sweet and soft Christmas sweaters, made especially for them. Knitted from Novita Nalle yarn, the children’s version of the Rudolf sweater is a bit lighter than the adult version.

Stitch patterns Twisted ribbing in the round: *k1 through back loop, p1*, repeat *–*. Stockinette stitch in the round: knit all rounds. Colourwork in the round: work stockinette st following the chart and instructions. Twist the yarns around each other on the WS to avoid long floats(at different points on back-to-back rows). Always take the contrasting colour from under the main colour. This will make the contrasting colour the dominant colour and you’ll get a neat result.

Gauge 24 sts and 28 rows in colourwork with larger needles = 10 cm / 4 in

Note The sweater is knitted seamlessly from neckline to hem and cuffs (see pattern for direction of knitting). The eyes and noses of the reindeer are embroidered on the finished garment.
