Novita 7 Sisters: Yhteinen matka Crocheted and Knitted Cardigan

Using off-white yarn:
Start rnd: Ch 6, close the rnd with sc into the first ch.

Lightly steam the squares. Join the squares according to pattern with sc (single crochet) as folls: Using black yarn, hold two squares right sides together and sc2tog 1 st of first and 1 st of second square, rep to end. You can also join the squares using back stitch or matress stitch if preferred.
Upper Skirt
RS: Using circular needle rejoin spruce color yarn to upper edge of the skirt and pick up and knit 176[192:212:232] sts.
WS: Knit.
Cont in stocking st and work 3 sts at both ends in garter st. Work until the knitted part meas 6[7:8:9] cm. Divide the skirt into 3 parts as folls:

Shape Shoulders and Back Neck
Cast off 28[28:30:30] sts in the middle of back for neck and work to end. Leave right side sts on a holder. Work each side of neck separately. Cast off 2 sts at neck edge. Work until armhole meas 19[20:21:22]cm. Cast off rem 18[20:22:25] sts. Rejoin yarn to sts on holder and work to end. Complete to match first side, reversing shapings.
Upper Right Front

Shape Shoulder and Front Neck
Put 13[13:14:14] sts at right end on a holder. Cast off at right end every alt row 3 sts once, 2 sts once, 1 st twice. Work until armhole meas 19[20:21:22]cm. Cast off rem 18[20:22:25] sts.
Upper Left Front
Work as upper right front reversing all shapings.
Sleeves

RS:Using 60cm circular needle rejoin black yarn to upper edge of the sleeve and pick up and knit 60[62:66:70] sts.
WS:Knit.
Cont in stocking st and work 3 sts at both ends in garter st. Work until the knitted part meas 5[4:4:4] cm. Inc 1 st at each end. Repeat increases in 0[4:4:5] cm interval once = 62[66:70:74] sts. Work until sleeve meas 47[48:49:50] cm.
Shape Top

To Make Up
Flatten the pieces to the desired dimensions on an even surface, wrong side up. Wet with water spray, and allow to dry. Join both shoulder seams. Join side seams and sleeve seams using back stitch or matress stitch if preferred. Set in sleeves.
Neckline Edge
Using 60cm circular needle rejoin yarn to 13[13:14:14] sts from a holder, pick up and knit 98[100:101:101]sts evenly from neck edge =111[113:115:115] sts. Work in garter st 4 rows. Cast off sts knitwise.
Using black yarn crochet 1 row of dc on front edges and hem.
