Knitted sand-coloured pillow in moss stitch Novita 7 Veljestä
Different shades of blue are mixed together and combined with white and beige. This sand-coloured moss stitch pillow is knitted with Novita 7 Veljestä yarn.

Needles and other supplies
Needles: Novita 4 mm or the size needed to obtain gauge. Other supplies: Inner cushion 40 x 40 cm

Stitch patterns:

1st row:
*k1, p1
Using the sand-coloured yarn, cast on 80 sts on one needle and begin working in moss stitch: 1st row: *k1, p1, repeat from * to the end of row. Turn work. 2nd row: purl the knit sts and knit the purl sts. Keep repeating rows 1-2.
When the piece measures 80 cm, bind off in pattern.
Finishing
Steam the piece lightly.
Fold the piece in half and sew the side seams.
Put the inner cushion inside the pillowcase and then sew the last seam.
Make 10 long tassels for the sides of the pillow using 3 strands of yarn for each: 6 tassels with 2x sand-coloured + 1x navy-coloured strands and 4 tassels with 2x sand-coloured and 1x jeans-coloured strands. Attach the tassels to opposite sides of the pillow, evenly spaced.
