Granny Square Forever - three beautiful squares for any crochet project

In this knitting school, you will learn how to crochet three different types of crochet granny squares. In addition to the basic square, you will also learn how to crochet a flat flower square and a raised flower square. For each square, there is also a pattern for a half square and a triangle square.

Abbreviations and stitches used (US terms)

beg = beginning

ch = chain (stitch)

dc= double crochet

hdc = half double crochet

RS = right side

sc= single crochet

slst = slip stitch

st(s) = stitch(es)

tr = treble crochet

WS = wrong side

yo = yarn over

Note When using different square designs in one project, if necessary, use different hook size for different squares to ensure the pieces are the same size. Please note that yarn consumption varies depending on the yarn used and the granny square design chosen.

Follow the written instructions and charts.
